TATA AIA Life Insurance deploys VMware cloud infrastructure

Consolidates more than 90 servers to 10, saving capital and operational expenditure; also invests in disaster recovery

VMware, Inc. has announced that Tata AIA Life Insurance Company Limited has selected VMware virtualization and cloud infrastructure technology to help the company reduce capital and operating costs, and accelerate their journey to the cloud.

The VMware deployment has helped Tata AIA Insurance Company Limited consolidate its IT infrastructure from more than 90 servers to only 10 servers, helping the company save in capital and operational expenditure.

Tata AIA has also invested in a disaster recovery solution to protect its IT infrastructure and data with VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager.
