In McAfee has strengthened its India management team with the appointment of Jagdish Mahapatra as the Managing Director - India and SAARC.
Based in Mumbai, Jagdish will report to Wahab Yusoff, Vice President of South Asia, and will spearhead the companys growth in the subcontinent. In this role, his key responsibilities include driving enterprise and consumer driven product revenues, strengthening the customer base across verticals and leading channel partner and alliance engagements.
In his previous role, Jagdish Mahapatra was the Senior Vice President IT Services Sales at Cisco Systems India, where he played a crucial role in scaling business in the IT services segment, the companys largest sales vertical. He worked with Cisco for almost 12 years, prior to which he managed the networking business for Godrej Pacific for over three years. In the earlier part of his career, he was also instrumental in creating the manufacturing offshoring model in India which emerged as a significant game changing industry phenomenon during his stint at Larsen and Toubro.
