When it came to cities, Delhi saw the most gadget purchases, followed by Bengaluru and Mumbai. According to eBay India, Sony is the most popular gadget brand. At second place is Nokia, followed by Samsung, Apple and Seagate.

Dell happens to be the most popular laptop brand. No surprises there.

In the mobile handset category Nokia turns out to be the most popular brand, while Micromax and HTC take the second and third positions, respectively. Too bad for Apple buffs, the iconic iPhones do not fare anywhere in the top ten. Almost 50 percent of all transactions on the site are in the electronics category.
