Barely two months after launching its original Magiq Tablet, Beetel has launched its Magic II.

Magiq II from Beetel here and it costs a few bucks less than the original Magiq. It is priced at Rs. 9,800. Beetel is a Bharti Group company.

The Magiq II comes with a 7-inch display, 2 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front shooter, 2200 mAh battery, and Android 2.2 (Froyo). The tablet has 8GB internal storage, expandable up to 24GB through a 16GB SD card.

However, according to reports, the tablet will pack a stripped down 768MHz processor unlike 1GHz in the first version. The dimensions of the device are 209mm x 108mm x 15.5mm and its weight is 500 grams.

As you can make out, most of the features of the tablet match that of the original Magiq, although 3G has been added to the tablet while FM radio has been removed from it.

It is hard for anyone to figure out the rational behind the launch of Magiq II. The only visible difference is the processor downgraded from 1GHz to 768MHz. The price difference of about Rs. 200 will hardly mean much to potential tablet buyers.
