Apple (1976): The first product that Steve Jobs conceived of was the Apple PC, which was designed for hobbyists and engineers, and made in small numbers.

Lisa (1983): This was Apples first commercial computer with graphical user interface. It used icons, windows and a cursor controlled by a mouse, but Lisa turned out to be too expensive to be a commercial success.

Macintosh (1984): The Macintosh also used a graphical user interface, but it was cheaper and faster and had the backing of a large advertising campaign behind it. This computer became very successful.

NeXT computer (1989): After Jobs was forced to leave Apple, he started a company to build powerful workstation computer. The NeXT did not sell in large numbers, but the software that powered it continues to live till this day and forms the basis for the OS in modern iPhone systems.

iMac (1998): In 1996, when Jobs was back at the helm of Apple, the company was sinking. Its market share in PC space had shrunk to a large extent. Jobs came up with iMac, which helped in getting Apple back on a firmer footing.

iPod (2001): The worlds first successful digital music player with a hard drive, the iPod is the device that established Apple in the portable electronics space.

iTunes store (2003): Buying digital music used to be chore before the advent of iTunes store. The store simplified the process and brought together tracks from all the major labels.

iPhone (2007): The iPhone has singularly revolutionised the cell phone experience around the world. It not only earned Apple the tag of most profitable maker of phones, it also inspired a series of innovations in the smartphone space.

iPad (2010): Before Apple many companies had created tablet computers, but none of them succeeded in making an impact. The iPad finally cracked the code, creating a whole new market for personal computing.
