In Team Computers, an IT solution provider, has announced that Canon India has opted for Team Computers to deploy the latters QlikView business intelligence solution to drive its sales operations.
Canon India has a centralized data centre at the corporate office and is connected to all the locations through a Virtual Private Network. The process of churning out reports applications that formed the basis of transaction processing, extracting into Excel, and cleaning it wherever required was turning out to be time consuming and not user-friendly. Hence, we decided to implement QlikView that would fit the bill perfectly, providing what a sales company like Canon needs the most, said Shikha Rai, Sr. Director, IT, Canon India.

The solution has benefited the company with almost real time information anytime, anywhere and the sales projection has become easy and fast. Now Real time information is available all the time which eliminated the duplication of data.
Business Intelligence has driven action in Canon by easy availability of information to the top level management across various verticals and view target versus actual performance. Easy to understand dashboards and charts have made it easy to analyze strategies. It has drastically reduced the time taken for preparing reports.
