Infinite launches tech support as a service

New cloud-based enterprise solution integrates multiple devices to ensure standardized user platform

Infinite Computer Solutions (India) has launched a new cloud based offering, called iTaaS or Infinite Tech-Support as a Service, in Bangalore.

iTaaS is a comprehensive cloud based offering that automates, standardizes, transforms and consolidates enterprise IT Infrastructure Management and Operations across the global enterprise in line with ITIL standards.

The solution caters to the changes that have occurred in enterprises due to consumerization of IT and the rise in trend of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) in companies.

On the launch of iTaaS, Doug Fallon, Senior Vice President & Business Head, Infrastructure Management Services, Infinite Computer Solutions (India) Limited, said: BYOD business environments are challenging where only 36% of all devices and 48% of selected devices are supported in the enterprise or virtually. iTaaS will enable optimization in service delivery processes while closely managing key components of clients IT portfolio and allow lower operating costs.

Enterprise business models have changed considerably where CIOs of small and larger companies now need to accommodate the ever expanding demands from users. iTaaS ensures round the clock, global support across the enterprise and virtual locations. CIOs are expected to run their IT functions as lean supply chains. As such internal help desks are mostly viewed as operating overhead. Outsourcing this function using iTaaS ensures pay for usage and not headcount.

iTaaS features and special benefits include quicker incident resolution, automation and prioritization of incidents to address critical demands, adaptability to complex changes to mitigate risks and cost advantage enabling a healthy business top line.
