SATO, a leading provider of barcode printing, labelling and EPC/RFID (electronic product code/radio frequency identification) solutions, has opened its full-fledged office in Gurgaon, India.
SATO has already been operating and offering products in the market for the past 20 years through strategic partners. The purpose of setting up the office is to provide better service to customers and support SATOs market position in the country.
SATO has also appointed Thanuj Madanakesari as the Country Director for India and South Asia. Since joining SATO in December 2011, Thanuj has been responsible for establishing key aspects of the companys operations. Thanuj has 20 years of experience in sales and business development in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining SATO, he worked in IBM, USA, Goldstone Technologies and Xenia Technologies.
