Dell KACE aims to make it easier for organizations to improve their endpoint security and achieve regulatory compliance through expanded visibility and audit trail capabilities.
The latest version of its flagship product Dell KACE K1000 Management Appliance includes expanded visibility into the network through support for new operating systems such as Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, SUSE Linux Enterprise and Ubuntu Linux and Mac OSX Mountain Lion.
The new appliance fulfills all of the systems management needs of organizations of all sizes, including initial inventory and discovery, software distribution, configuration management, patching, security vulnerability remediation, asset management, service desk and reporting.
Todays organizations face a wide range of IT challenges, including end point security, regulatory compliance, server management and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device), which can make it difficult for resource strapped IT teams to provide the services and responsiveness that their businesses are demanding, said Lubos Parobek, vice president of product for Dell KACE. The Dell KACE K1000 Management Appliance provides a highly cost effective computer management solution to help organizations improve endpoint security and achieve regulatory compliance rapidly and without a steep learning curve.
