In SafeNet has announced that its Sentinel Cloud was selected as the Best Digital Rights Management Solution in the Software & Industry Information Associations (SIIA) 2012 CODiE Awards.
The CODiE Awards hold the distinction of being the technology industrys only peer-reviewed awards program. In the Digital Rights Management Solution category, the SIIA uses rigorous criteria to evaluate and recognize the solution that best allows the secure electronic purchase, distribution, and subsequent use of software and/or information. While the CODiE awards tradition extends more than 25 years, this year marks the first time a cloud-based offering has been recognized as the industrys best Digital Rights Management (DRM) solution.
For decades, the CODiE Awards has recognized the most innovative technology products and services, noted SIIA President Ken Wasch. This years digital content winners continue that tradition with their commitment to excellence and visionary approach to the digital rights marketplace. Out of 89 nominated products and services, SafeNets Sentinel Cloud was selected as the CODiE Award winner for the quick and easy way it enables SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) providers to build versatile service catalogs, provision and authorize user access, measure service usage, and seamlessly adapt their service offerings to new and emerging environments.
