5 Tips to Remain Healthy

Tips which are key to good life is very practical and achievable and they include:

1. Eat Healthy - This appears to be the easiest; and usually we get into trap of what is being advertised via media. But having a right selection of carbohydrates, protein, minerals, vitamins depends on one’s  physical and mental activity. And so, not everyone can have same diet plan and you can choose one to suite your needs.

2. Sleep Well - A good sleep of 7-8 hours is must and most of us follow this. Prevailing trend is that most of them hit bed at 1.00 am and wake-up by 8:30 am, which is not recommended. If not 10.00 pm, it is ideal to go to bed at 11.00 pm.

3. Exercise - Human body is designed to physically work out to make it live well. However; we exercise just one part of the body i.e. brain, and that too concentrate on either right/left side of it. We exercise physically either to lose weight or pump up the muscles by injecting extra protein. And some think that exercise is like a weight loss program which I can do for 3 months and can relax for rest of their life. However this is a daily activity which is a must to do for an hour on an average..

4. State of Mind - Should be in control with respect to emotions and feelings. It has to be consciously mastered which would help in the decision making capabilities, else the mind would get confused. It certainly impacts health.

5. As an exercise – It is important to practice running and it would be ideal to participate in Half Marathon to cover a certain stretch of Kms. Spreading out from 500 mts to 21 Kms in 10 months creates a good feeling.
