How a Next100 Winner Went on to Become CIO.

Ashok Jade, the then AGM-IT, Videocon Industries is now the CIO, Shalimar Paints.

The exuberant CIO says, “Being a Next100 Winner impacted my career. Ashok started his career as programmer in 1997, with Videocon International.

The key initiatives Ashok drove which helped him in reaching this position as CIO of Shalimar was mainly understanding operations, business needs and working solution.

He says, “Some initiatives in my earlier assignment like home grown CRM system, BI, FFA Initiative (Field Force Automation) are the few large projects that I had headed and they helped me a lot.”
Jade’s mandate at Shalimar is transform the business and implement “IT Enabling Business Growth” in real sense. His focus is on Infrastructure excellence, CRM, BI, Market Connect.
