In Mumbai: Telecom major Bharti Airtel, has entered into a strategic relationship with Savvis to further augment and strengthen its managed services portfolio. The collaboration aims to offer innovative managed services to enterprises operating in or expanding into India. According to the official release, the alliance will allow airtel enterprise customers more flexibility to pick and choose the best-in-class solutions from the available array of managed IT services portfolio.
Savvis will use airtels Data Centers, for improved bandwidth capacity and network support to expand its services platform in India.
Under this exclusive agreement, airtel will offer world class managed services including intelligent hosting, disaster recovery, managed application, migration planning, consulting, a suite of network & security services and transformational services. The services will be rolled out through Bangaluru Data Centre in early 2011 with future expansion into other airtel Data Centres located in New Delhi, Pune, Mumbai and Chennai.
