Gururaj Rao has been appointed EVP & CTO at Aditya Birla Health Insurance Co. He moves from Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services where he served as the VP & CIO. He was with Mahindra for over a decade. Earlier, he was associated with ICICI Bank, Birla Sun Life Insurance Co, and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co.
Rao had served as a NEXT100 jury member in 2015, 2017 and 2018. He completed his MMS in Finance from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies and BE in Electronics & Telecom from University of Mumbai. Besides, he holds numerous certifications in leadership development and advanced technologies from premier institutions like INSTEAD, University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and IIT-Bombay. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute (PMI) and PRINCE2 Practioner.
