They are making all efforts to develop a business analytics model focusing on the interaction of IT technology, strategy, business processes, and a broad spectrum of human competencies and organisation circumstances. Gartner, too, endorsed the increasing need for analytics.
Hence, it is not just jargon--but the next stepping stone, really, for enterprises in the information age .
