In New Delhi: Motorola has completed the acquisition of BitBand, a provider of content management and delivery systems, specialising in video on demand for IPTV.
With this acquisition, Motorola is betting big to enhance its on demand portfolio in the IP video space.
The acquisition of BitBand will complement Motorolas existing on demand product line which includes the Adaptive Media Management framework for content management and high-performance streaming servers for centralised and edge-based on demand networks.
