In TechProcess Solutions has deployed Array Networks' application delivery controllers to optimize the scalability, availability and security of its bill payment services.
TechProcess services encompass three areas of expertise - payment processing, back office management and technology. More than 200 of India's blue-chip institutions have used its solutions to date.
Early TechProcess bill payment services did not have the scale, performance and availability needed to keep up with a rapidly growing business. The company maintained just one server processing 1024 SSL encrypted transactions, restricted to no more than 30 requests per minute. This created a single point of failure and resulted in less than optimal performance during festival and peak usage seasons.
With the APV Series application delivery controllers in production, TechProcess servers can now handle up to 1,000 requests per minute - a 33x improvement - and customers are experiencing 60-75% faster response times and 99.999% service availability.
