In New Delhi: Four Soft (4S), a global leader offering software solutions for Logistics and Transportation industry, has bagged a deal from AFS Transport (Rotterdam) B.V, a leading logistics company based in The Netherlands. As per the contract, Four Soft will be implementing its global freight management solution 4S eTrans and its customs compliance solution 4S eCustoms across its locations of AFS. AFS Transport is an existing customer of Four soft.
AFS Transport is a recognized specialist in this field acknowledged for expertise and in-house systems to handle all kinds of project cargoes, including heavy-lifts. Shipments of multiscale tonnages, is a complex process and require complete and careful coordination. It calls for highly optimized logistics management in view of the many varied and multifaceted aspects. AFS Transport provides the full turnkey packages starting from order processing to delivered job site, catering for routine in-gauge movements by conventional and containerized methods, combined with the expertise to handle rolling stock, heavy lifts and large indivisible loads. Easy Shipping (Rotterdam) B.V. will implement 4S-eTRANS/ OCEAN for their FCL business. Easy Shipping (Rotterdam) B.V. is AFS newest subsidiary focusing on Full Sea Containers only. Easy Shipping will be live with this eTrans module by end of December 2010 and ready for their new financial year using eTrans.
