In GreenField Software Private Ltd (GFS), a startup offering energy and environment management software, has been awarded a contract by Infrastructure Development Finance Company Limited (IDFC) for GFS's Crane DC, a Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) software.
GreenField Software offers energy efficiency and sustainability management software solutions for data centers and companies in the manufacturing segment. The new venture has been founded by Shekhar Dasgupta, Ex-Managing Director of Oracle India, and Abhijit Sen, Director of UD Marketing Private Limited.
Making the announcement, chief exec Dasgupta said, IDFC is Indias leading integrated infrastructure player in India and having them as one of the first adopters of our software in the country is a matter of great pride for us. We are extremely confident that IDFC will see ample value of this implementation by improvingtheir operational and energy efficiency, reducing energy costs and managing and reporting their sustainability performance with respect to power consumption,e-waste and emission in their data center.
