QAI reduces prices for entry level certifications to $100 for easy availability

New Delhi: Following a report by Gartner on the software certifications and trainings market that it is estimated to grow from $5.59 billion in 2008 to $13.58 billion in 2013, QAI reduces prices for entry level certifications to $100 for easy availability and growth.

The QAI Global Institute which administers Software Certifications' examinations, has announced revised prices for Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST) and Certified Associate in Software Quality Assurance (CASQ), which are now available at $100, across the globe. QAI Global Institute has certified in excess of 38,000 professionals worldwide in 43 countries on the international standards for software certifications.

According to Gartner, the software certifications and trainings market is estimated to grow from $5.59 billion in 2008 to $13.58 billion in 2013. The ongoing need for qualified IT personnel in Asia Pacific will fuel major opportunities for IT training and certification in the region and estimates that around 1.5 million IT experts will be needed by 2012.

As the IT industry is becoming more competitive, the ability for management to distinguish professional and skilled individuals in the field, becomes mandatory. Individuals can take certifications to consistently assess their skill sets, gain recognition, achieve potentially more radip career advancement and improve chances of better employability. Software certifications are increasingly being taken up by large organizations to give their employees global recognition. To name a few, Accenture has over 2000 and Infosys has over 4400 professionals certified, which is a testimony to the growing trend.
