New Delhi: Tata Communications has unveiled a new data center in the Pune. The 55,000 sq.ft data center is intended to offer services including co-location, managed hosting and storage.
The company further informed that it will reside on Tata Communications Tier-1 IP backbone, for providing high capacity Internet, MPLS and global Ethernet services.
"The Centre has enough resources to double its area to be able to continue to serve the future needs of our customers, Sunil Joshi, President, India, APAC & MENA Regions at Tata Communications said.
The Pune data center will serve the hosting, storage and connectivity needs of large and small enterprises, Joshi added.
The company has already invested around Rs 125 crore in the Pune data center and aims for a further investment of Rs 500 crore, in the next three years.
