In Hyderabad: Global logistics provider, Four Soft has launched a new logisticsalliance, Freight Forwarding Industry & Four Soft Alliance (FFIFA).According to the company statement, the objective of FFIFA is to provide a forum for the exchange ofideas where the resultant Industry best practices will save the industry time, energy and money inproviding better services to its customers.
The forum includes includes six of the largest logistic players in the world like DHL, GeodisWilson, CEVA, Agility, FedEx and Continental Group.
FFIFA members will collaborate to help the evolution of unified and standard business practices acrossmultiple tiers and geographies, it further added.
The alliance is intended to bring major benefits including access to all information, standards and metrics, better understanding ofchanging business dynamics and understanding of tangible and intangible benefits of IT in Logistics.
