Intel introduces new atom based processors

The platform is targeted towards entry level PC's and netbooks

New Delhi: Intel has introduced its new atom processors and chipset for netbooks and entry level desktop PCs. According to Intel, these atom processors have integrated built graphics directly into CPU.

The company has introduced Atom N450 processor for netbook segment and Atom D410 and dual core D510 processors for entry level desktops. These processors can be paired with the new NM10 express chipset.

According to the company statement, the netbook platform features a 20% improvement in average power and a smaller package size over the previous Atom platform.

The platform is expected to be available in the market from the first week of January.

Intel has announced the new atom processors for netbooks and entry level desktop PCs.
The platform for netbooks consists of a new atom processor, the N450, and a new NM10 express chipset. The platform consists of either the atom processor D410 or the dual core D510, that can be paired with the NM10 Express chipset.
