In order to cater to the growing demand in the field of product development and design engineering for global and domestic markets, MSC Software announced a unique set of initiatives including MSC Softwares Student Editions and online certification programme for the development of skilled engineering talent in India. The announcements were made at the MSC India VPD Conference 2011, being held from 8th September to 9th September 2011 in Bangaluru.

MSC announced the acquisition of FFT this week.
