In 'I have got a tag of Next CIO, all I have to do is make it happen'
The recognition was tremendous. After getting the award, I was involved in business process re-engineering projects of our hospital. Lot of quality initiatives were taken in our place and I was given the responsibility because I had a tag as Next 100 CIO.
The Next 100 was a highly organized show which helped me learn many things, management skills, operational skills, communication and much more. The main aspect of learning was how a CIO must look beyond IT and look in business perspective.
Post the award, I have started taking strategic decisions instead of tactical decisions. Identified differently from other IT managers around. It is a great honor and pleasure to be a part of this hallowed club.
Now that I have got a tag of Next CIO, all I have to do is make it happen.
