Worlds first glasses-free 3D laptop 1 month away

Technically Nintendos 3DS was worlds first glasses-free 3D mobile device, now glasses-free technology comes to laptops

If you are still waiting to enjoy Avatar in all its 3D glory in your laptop, then you might not have to wait beyond next month. Yeah, Toshiba's 15-inch Qosmio F750 is expected to become available from August this year. The laptop looks stylish, even though it is a bit clunky. But its unique feature is that it allows you to enjoy 3D images without being encumbered with those glasses.

In case of the Qosmio F750, you dont even need to sit in a particular position to enjoy 3D experience, as in case of Nintendo 3DS or the LG Optimus 3D smartphone. The laptop comes with a webcam that can track the position of your head and more importantly, your eyes, and adjust the image accordingly. In fact, the device can handle 3D and 2D images simultaneously on its 15.6-inch, 120Hz, 1920 by 1080 pixel display.

You are allowed to split the window so that while you are enjoying a 3D movie experience on one side, you can update your Twitter and Facebook status in 2D on the other side. Inside it, the machine packs the power of Intel Core i7 CPU, 6GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce GT 540M graphics card with 2GB memory. The hard disk is of 640GB and we also have a rewritable Blu-ray drive.

If you are already enchanted by the features that the Qosmio F750 boasts off, then you can possibly think of forking out more than $2100 for it. Well, advanced features always come at a price.
