CtrlS Rolls Out Content Delivery Network Services

CtrlS Datacenters, a tier-4 data center provider, announced that its releasing India's first state-of-the-art Content Delivery Network (CDN) services, aimed at delivering both static and dynamic content (software, video, games and other objects) across the globe through its 170 points of presence (PoPs) spread across APAC, Americas, Europe and MENA.

The CDN servers are designed to address the premium needs of large enterprises, e-commerce and media organizations. It improves performance and response times for intranet, extranet web-based applications by reducing the physical distance, by removing the middle-mile connectivity problems such as network congestion and packet loss posed by Internet, currently faced by the users of incumbent Content Delivery Network service offerings.

CDN server hosting is powered by tier-4 infrastructure in India and dedicated worldwide network, cache resources clubbed with TCP optimization, thereby dramatically reducing latency and processing overhead and enabling faster delivering content.
