The telecom arm of the ADAG group, Reliance Communications (RCom), has thundered into the tablet computer segment with the launch of an Android operating system-based Reliance 3G Tab for Rs 12,999. The device comes with exclusive bundled data service plans and discounts of up to 50%.

The launch of 3G Tab is in line with this principle."
The Reliance 3G tablet has already been launched in major metros like Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. It is being sold at Reliance World and Reliance Mobile stores.
The device has a 7-inch touch screen with Android 2.3 OS. Custom-manufactured for RCom by ZTE of China, the device has 512 MB RAM and a micro SD external storage, which can support up to 32 GB data storage card. It will have a two-megapixel rear camera and a front camera, for video calling.
The other features of the Reliance 3G Tab include a built-in GPS. At 389 grams, the tablet is neither too heavy nor too light.
