SafeNet has introduced new security products, Luna SA and Luna CA3 for the automotive companies. The solutions are aimed to address the challenges faced by the IT team of the automotive sector and provide them the ability to secure their electronic communications channels. The products are aimed at protecting the online identities of businesses, employees and partners for a smooth functioning of a large manufacturing business. Using a combination of digital certificates, and smartcards combined with the proven security provided by SafeNets HSMs, automakers will be able to smoothly issue thousands of digital identity certificates to individuals and devices; can introduce a new employee facilities access control system; secure access to the sensitive data residing in the file-server and databases, says Rana Gupta, Business Head - INDIA & SAARC, SafeNet India in the company statement.
