Graham Bell Award 2011

The School of Business and Telecom, a leading school for telecom management studies in Mumbai started with support of Bharti Airtel, has established the Aegis Graham Bell Award and scholarships as a tribute to the father of telephony, Sir Alexander Graham Bell. This Award is intended to promote innovation, entrepreneurship in field of TIME (Telecom, Internet, Media & Edutainment) and to provide recognition for outstanding contributions in this field. This award is open for individuals, students, academician and companies working in the field of TIME.

Last years Aegis Bell Award 2010 was a grand success, with participation of leading firms: Amdocs, Microsoft, Siemens Enterprise Communication, Aircel, Uninor, Reliance Communications, TechMahindra, CanvasM, GTL, IBM Research, Alcatel Lucent, Infosys, TCS etc.

This initiative was supported by Amdocs, Cellular Operators Association India (COAI), ITU APT, IETE, and IPTV India forum and Telecom Users Group TUG, Voice & Data, QS Network London, Outlook and Alcatel-Lucent. Amdocs and Infosys have expressed honour on winning the Aegis Graham Bell Award in 2010 in their annual report.
