About Next100

NEXT100 is a pioneering awards programme from IT NEXT magazine that identifies 100 senior IT Managers who have the skills, talent and spirit to become CIOs.

Award aspirants participate in an extensive series of activities that tests their techno-commercial, management and leadership skills. The final evaluation and selection of NEXT100 award recipients is made by a prestigious committee of technology leaders who judge applicants on career accomplishments, professional expertise, skills and potential to be a CIO.

The NEXT100 programme commences in June 2011, and will culminate in a gala awards ceremony in December 2011.

PROCESS OVERVIEW

This year, the process of selecting the NEXT100 award recipients will involve the following stages:

• Call for applications from candidates
• Online psychological test to assess the personality traits
• Management skills test to assess leadership
• Evaluation of qualified candidates and interview by jury panel
• Confirmation of awardees by referees and work supervisors
• NEXT100 award winner list

In addition to the NEXT100 awards, all applicants will also be eligible to apply for the IT NEXT Technology awards. To apply for the technology awards, you will need to:

• Register and fill the online profile form
• Apply for one (or more technology awards)
• Take the online assessment test (separate test for each award)

REGISTER TO START

1. Register now apply for the NEXT100 award and the Technology Awards. Registration also enables you to attend exclusive technology workshops, download white papers & case studies.

TO APPLY FOR TECHNOLOGY AWARDS

1. Login, if you are not logged in already
2. Go to “MY NEXT100” page
3. Choose the Technology Award category (or categories) you want to apply for.
4. Click on “APPLY NOW” against your chosen “TECHNOLOGY AWARD”
5. You can apply for multiple technology awards. Go to “MY NEXT100” and choose another award you wish to apply for

TO PARTICIPATE IN WORKSHOP

1. Login, if you are not logged in already
2. Go to WORKSHOP page and choose the workshops you want to attend.
3. Complete “Technology survey” which is mandatory to secure your registration and submit it.
4. You will receive a confirmation mail from IT NEXT regarding your workshop registration.
5. Go to MYNEXT100 page to know the status of the workshops you have been confirmed.
6. If you want to cancel your registration, go to WORKSHOP page and uncheck the workshop you don’t want to attend .

... IF You Cannot Attend Workshop

7. Login
8. View the workshop video online posted on NEXT100 website before the stated deadline.
9. Download the participation certificate.

TO APPLY FOR NEXT100 AWARDS

1. You must be already registered to apply for the award. The registration process will automatically send you the login-id and password.
2. Login to the site here, if you are not logged in already.
3. Go to the “MY NEXT100” page.
4. Click on “START” option against the “PROFILE”, if you have not started already.
5. You can SAVE and RESUME your application at any time.
6. To edit your profile, click on the “EDIT” link in “MY NEXT100” page, against the “PROFILE”.
7. Make sure that you SUBMIT your profile. You can proceed to the next stage only after your profile is submitted. Before you submit your profile, please re-confirm that all the information is correct, as you will be unable to change it once it is submitted.
8. Take the Psychology test by clicking on “TAKE TEST” against ”PSYCHO TEST” option on the “MY NEXT100 ” page.
9. Once you complete both tests, an interview with the jury will be scheduled for shortlisted candidates.
10. Confirm that you will be available for the interview.
11. All NEXT100 award winners will be informed via e-mail or post if they are selected.
12. You will need to attend the NEXT100 award ceremony on 25th and 26th December 2011 to receive the award

Eligibility Criteria

Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, family members of NINEDOTNINE MEDIAWORX PVT LTD, its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, programme partners and advertising and promotional agencies are not eligible to participate in the Next100 and Technology awards.

• Be a resident of India at the time of application.
• Not be a past NEXT100 award recipient
• Have minimum of 5 years of full-time work experience
• Be employed in a company or organization (cannot be self-employed).
• Provide valid documentation supporting their personal information and work experience, as and when requested by IT NEXT magazine.
• Agree that he/she shall be solely responsible for all statements made, or acts or omissions that occur through the use of their User Name, User Identification and Password.
• Agree not to provide or make known his/her User Name, User Identification Password or e-mail address to any other person for the purpose of facilitating such person's access and unauthorized use.
• Agrees that all content herein is the sole property of IT NEXT and its programme partners.

• Understand and agree that the information in, or derived from, predictions and other information including without limitation text, graphics, images, animations, computer programmes, data, designs, logos and button icons and the arrangement, collection and assembly thereof, is the property of IT NEXT, and may not be copied, modified, adapted, translated, mirrored, decompiled, disassembled, republished, redistributed, transmitted, altered, edited or exploited in any manner for any purpose, except the participants are hereby permitted to display, print and store one (1) electronic copy of information provided by IT NEXT for own personal use.
• Agree that upon posting Information or conducting communications, he/she grants the IT NEXT and its successors and assigns a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, unrestricted license under your copyrights or other intellectual property rights in such Information or Communications, if any, to use, license, sub-license, adapt, distribute, display, publicly perform, reproduce, transmit, modify, edit and create derivative works from such material in any and all media, in any manner, in whole or in part, now known or hereafter developed without any duty to account to you.
• Waive all rights to any claim against IT NEXT or its affiliates and programme partners for any alleged or actual infringement of any proprietary rights, rights of privacy and publicity, moral rights, and rights of attribution in connection with such Information or Communications.
• Grant ITJNEXT the right to authorize the downloading and printing of such Information or Communications, or any portion thereof, by other users for their personal use.
• Agree that IT NEXT may, in their sole discretion, terminate or suspend his/her access to all or part of programme for any reason, including without limitation breach of these Terms and Conditions (or any subsequent modifications hereof)
• Agrees that IT NEXT, its affiliates, and any independent contractor and programme partners engaged by IT NEXT or NINEDOTNINE MEDIAWORX PVT LTD to assist in moderating programme, shall not be liable in any way, and you hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless IT NEXT or NINEDOTNINE MEDIAWORX PVT LTD its affiliates, and any independent contractor and programme partners to assist in moderating the programme, from any claim, demand, proceeding, damages, injuries, liabilities, losses, costs or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) made by any third party relating to or arising out of (i) your use of this site or any information, products, services or software available on or through this site; (ii) your breach of these Terms and Conditions or other improper act or omission by you; (iii) any inaccuracy, error or delay in, or omissions of (a) any such data or information on the programme or (b) the transmission or delivery of any such data or information; (iv) unauthorized access; (v) theft; or (vi) any loss or damage arising from or occasioned by (a) any such inaccuracy, error, delay or omission; (b) non-performance or (c) interruption of any such data or information due either to any negligent act or omission by the programme or NINEDOTNINE MEDIA and IT NEXT or to any "force majeure" (i.e., flood, extraordinary weather conditions, earthquake, or other act of God, fire, war, insurrection, riot, labor dispute, accident, action of government, communications power failure, or equipment or software malfunction) or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of IT NEXT.
• Only one unique user id and password will be given per candidate.

Terms And Conditions

• NEXT100 is an initiative of and the sole property of NINEDOTNINE MEDIAWORX PVT LTD and IT NEXT.
• IT NEXT can verify participants by themselves or any third party at any stage of the programme.
• IT NEXT can mention the name, company of the participant through ads, editorial, website as when they deem fit
• IT NEXT reserves the right to accept the nominee using any filter it deems fit.
• No entry fee is required. Multiple entries will not be allowed.
• To participate in the NEXT100, the participant must complete the registration process on the programme website (http://www.itnext.in/next100/)
• The programme will run from the starting and ending dates as decided by IT NEXT. IT NEXT reserves the right to modify, cancel, discontinue or terminate the NEXT100 programme at any time or to accept or reject any or all entries at their absolute discretion without giving any prior notice and without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Decisions of the NEXT100 will be final and binding on all participants and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
• IT NEXT reserves the right to terminate the registration at any time or in the event the information, including your e-mail address, is no longer current or accurate. The participant shall be the only authorized user through the User Name, User Identification and Password.
• While IT NEXT makes every reasonable effort to ensure the quality and accuracy of the information posted within the programme website, IT NEXT assumes no responsibility for, and does not guarantee, the accuracy, currency, completeness or usefulness of information in any material about the programme, and does not endorse, oppose or edit any opinions, recommendations or predictions posted by the participants or other members, except IT NEXT may remove or delete what appears to be potentially unlawful content or content otherwise prohibited under these Terms and Conditions.
• The data published at the programme website site is for informational purposes only.
• The content available in the programme website is the sole property of IT NEXT and that of its partners and is protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patent or other proprietary rights and laws.
• Use of this site is restricted to authorized persons only. Actual or attempted unauthorized use of this site shall result in criminal or civil prosecution by IT NEXT or its affiliates.
• The shortlisted participants/candidates will be intimated individually at the email address and/or contact number provided by them.
• All decisions made by IT NEXT shall be final and not open to challenge.
• These Terms and conditions are set forth herein as an agreement between the programme promoter and participant and is subject to changes without further notice.
