HP launches mini notebook

The notebook, like the companys earlier Mini 110 series, is made of environmental friendly material

New Delhi: HP Indiahas launched newmini notebook in India. The Mini210 notebook claims to have bigger battery pack for increased battery life, optional high-definition (HD) video playback, mobile broadband connectivity, and GPS capability.

The best part of the ungrade is the new software bundles, which are designed to enhance multimedia experience and easier access to offline content.

Some useful software includes, HP QuickSync software which automatically synchronizes files created or edited on the road with a home or business PC over a wireless connection when connected to the same network.

It also claims tohave a simple push button feature thatallows users to access the web without booting up the notebook.

In seconds, users have a connection to the Internet and can access websites and other content that normally requires a standard browser, as well as photos, music and more.

HP has added what it calls a Cloud Drive which allows users to access their synchronised content - including documents, photos and music - from the cloud without having to store it on a local drive.

Netbook also allows users to stream multimedia content from one PC to another over the Internet, without requiring data to be downloaded.

In addition to viewing HD content on the Internet, users can experience their own personal multiplex via an optional Broadcom Crystal HD Enhanced Video Accelerator, which allows users to enjoy up to 1,080-pixel HD content.

HP Mini portfolio, includes the previously introduced Mini 110whichthe company claimed iscrafted with environmentally friendly materials.

"The new HP Mini210 range has been conceptualised after extensive research to offer the best Digital experience and a variety of options to consumers. With a full breadth of color and feature options, we are inspiring, engaging and equipping the digital generation with unexpected fun and endless possibilities," Rajiev Grover, Director Mobility Business Unit, Personal Systems Group, HP India said.

Weighing less than 1.5 kg, the notebook is based on Atom 450 processsor. It also boast to have 10.1-inch diagonal standard or optional BrightView Infinity HD LED widescreen display and full-size QWERTY keyboard.

The netbook prices starts at Rs 16000.
