Facebook reaches 500 mn users

It surpassed 12 million users in India

New Delhi: Facebook has crossed 500 mn users all around the world, informs the company. “This is an important milestone for all of you who have helped spread Facebook around the world,” says Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO, Facebook

The company has also announced that it has surpassed 12 million users in India as people continue to share their lives on Facebook.  Each month, people in India in upload more than 53 million photos, while mobile usage has increased nine-fold in the past year
